The Anime seems to end rather abruptly in Season Two and just seems to stop instead of concluding the events and makes it feel like there is an episode missing, perhaps this will be fixed with another season or OVA, but since its been a while from release I'm starting to lose hope.
The reason this series lost some marks with me was the fact of it seeming to just loop around with some episodes, where revelations seem to amount to nothing and are revealed again later on then seem to land with the rest of the cast, which seemed like a strange direction to go in. The main characters are usually quite entertaining and are quite memorable due to their personalities, as for example Taiga is very controlling to the protagonist and often hurts him quite badly, usually its quite funny too. The main characters (Keep in mind unlike Vilquar I am only going on watching the Anime) I was recommended to watch this by a friend, and the first few episodes were just strange to watch until I started getting into the show more, then I started to understand it more and appreciate it. Kept me on the edge of my seat (for a romance story, that's quite an achievement.) If you are only going to watch one slice of life anime, make it this one. (Still, a storybook ending would have been nice, even as an OVA.) Overall: Toradora is a heart warming experience. Fantastic build up! The ending could have been a bit better, but to be fair, after thinking deeply on it, it was fitting and fit the characters and the central theme. For a romance anime, the show really leaves you guessing untill the end who ends up with who.
Very rare that I have gotton so attached to characters. Character development is just phenomenal. Great art all round, with some nice character designs. The two leads are great.įor a romance anime, the show To be honest, this is likely one of my favorite slice of life animes.
